Farewell Portugal
This seems like the right choice to close out the posts of our Portugal trip. The sun was dropping lower in the sky (just above the top of the frame) on its way to a spectacular sunset on yet another perfect day of the trip. Just to the left of this view, several thousand miles across the Atlantic Ocean is home and no matter how perfect the weather or how interesting the trip its about getting back to reality and into your comfort zone. Time to move on to new “stuff”.

On the Beach, Algarve, Portugal
Back home from our trip to Portugal. The weather was picture perfect (no pun intended) for all 10 days of our stay. We covered a lot of ground, met some wonderful people, saw lots of churches, monuments, palaces, landscapes, seascapes, big cities (Lisbon), small towns and villages, vineyards, wine cellars, restaurants, etc., etc. etc. And of course we took a lot of pictures and learned a lot about the country and culture of Portugal and the Portuguese people. I’ll be posting some of these over the next few weeks. The one above was taken late in the afternoon last Thursday just a short walk down the beach from our hotel.
