“False” Cypress
Although generically known as a “false” cypress it actually is a member of the cypress family. The weird details can be found here. This is the first post of a photo from the latest addition to my camera inventory, the Panasonic G3. The G3 is the most recent upgrade in technology by Panasonic and will serve, along with my GF1, as a small, highly portable but high performing travel kit this summer. Winter Garden
I visited Bamboo Brook today located near Pottersville, adjacent to Willowwood Arboretum. Both are Morris County facilities and beautifully situated and maintained. I’m looking forward to Spring for return visits to both, although there was no shortage of photo opportunities even in the dead of Winter.

This is the fifth time in almost two years that I’ve posted an image of a flower on our Hibiscus Plant currently sitting outside our front door. There was a light rain falling today and I couldn’t resist the shot.
