Bridge to Peapack
This rail line runs along the edge of Natirar between Far Hills and Gladstone-Peapack. It crosses over the North Branch of the Raritan River using the girder bridge and under Peapack Road through the stone arch.

Compromise the Light
I knew when I snapped this shot that I would have a tough time in post-processing getting a usable image. The sinking sun was directly behind the trees at the bend in the curve making life difficult. I wanted to capture the shadows and highlights off the water and surrounding vegetation but for the life of me I couldn’t get the right balance in a color image. So, when all else fails, I tried black and white and although not perfect, I think it gets close to my original vision.
