Monolith in Black & White

The AT&T Long Lines building at 33 Thomas St. in lower Manhattan is a windowless hulk of a switching center designed to withstand nuclear fall-out for up to two weeks.  Opened in 1974 it stands 550 feet tall and has been described as having the tallest blank wall of any building in the world.  More info can be found here. The image was converted to grayscale in Silver Efex Pro using a “high structure” pre-set and an 80% blue filter to lighten the sky.
