The Casino – Asbury Park NJ

The Casino, at the south end of the Asbury Park Boardwalk, was built in the 1920’s when the city was at the peak of its popularity as a tourist destination. During this era the Convention Center, Paramount Theatre, several Bath Houses and the Heating Plant were also built in the same Beaux Arts style.  The area went through a significant downturn over the years since, but a major redevelopment is underway to rebuild the city and its fabulous beachfront. Here’s a small sample of work in process.
